Data usage and consent

What we collect

• Booking/contact data (name, email, phone, service details) required to deliver the service.
• Payment processing data handled by Stripe in accordance with provider controls.
• Attribution data (UTM/referrer), unless you opt out of non-essential cookies.
• Aggregate audience insights from Google Analytics (such as broad age ranges, general interests and city-level location) unless you opt out of analytics cookies. These arrive already grouped — we never see your individual age, and we never ask you for it.
• Account creation is optional and not required to complete booking.

Cookie categories

• Essential: session + CSRF protection required for secure booking and login.
• Analytics/Marketing: GTM, Google Analytics and UTM attribution cookies, and the Meta Pixel. They are on unless you opt out. Google Analytics may report grouped audience characteristics; Google withholds any figure small enough to point at one person.
• We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals by disabling non-essential cookies for that request.
• You can change this any time with the “Your privacy choices” button in the footer of every page.

SMS / Text messaging

Mobile information collected for text messaging — including your phone number and your consent to receive messages — will never be shared or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

• Who sends them: Detail & Design LLC, a mobile auto detailing business in Colorado Springs, CO. Questions: (719) 930-1420.
• What we send: text messages from Detail & Design are limited to appointment reminders, service updates and payment links related to bookings you requested.
• How often: recurring messages, up to 6 messages per month.
• How you opt in: by checking an unchecked box while booking on this site, or from your account settings. We never add anyone who did not check it.
• Never a requirement: consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase.
• Cost: message and data rates may apply.
• Opt out: reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages, or HELP for assistance.

We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our SMS Terms.

Advertising & conversion measurement

Unless you opt out, we measure which ads lead to bookings so we can run advertising responsibly. This may include sharing data with our advertising processors — Meta (Facebook) and Google — through their server-side conversion interfaces (Meta Conversions API, Google Ads / Enhanced Conversions).

• What is shared: a one-way hashed (SHA-256) version of your email and/or phone number — never the raw values — plus advertising click identifiers (e.g. gclid, fbclid) and the conversion value of a booking.
• When: unless you opt out. If you choose “Opt out” in the cookie notice or in “Your privacy choices”, or browse with Global Privacy Control (GPC) enabled, no advertising data is shared.
• Why hashed: hashing lets the platform match a conversion to an ad click without us disclosing your raw email or phone.
• This is not our text-messaging program: what is shared here is an encrypted identifier used only for measurement, and never if you opt out. The mobile number and consent you give to receive text messages are never shared or sold — see SMS / Text messaging above.
• Opt out: open “Your privacy choices” in the footer of any page and turn off targeted advertising, or use a browser with GPC enabled.
